The first weekend in October, my family went to the Methow to belatedly celebrate Dad’s birthday. We got super lucky with the weather: crisp and clear, with a fresh dusting of snow up high and the larches nearing peak color. It was super nice to spend time with family, see some friends, and do a bunch of different activities: bouldering, mountain biking, hiking, and a quick overnight to Copper Glance Lake.
